Rande Gerber was seen returning to his late son Presley Gerber‘s Los Angeles home days after the 27-year-old model died at a sober living home.
The sighting came as Presley’s family moved ahead with arrangements following his cremation, while officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
Rande’s latest appearance also comes as Cindy Crawford, Kaia Gerber and their close friends rally around the family, with a private funeral reportedly being planned for the coming days.
Rande Gerber Returns To Son Presley’s Home After His Cremation
Rande was spotted outside Presley’s Los Angeles home on Friday, September 25, according to photos obtained by TMZ.
Wearing shorts, a T-shirt, and a hat, the businessman kept his head down as he approached the front door.
The appearance came shortly after news that Presley’s remains had been cremated. Now, as they remain out of the public eye, the family has begun handling Presley’s belongings and other matters connected to his home.
The model died on September 20 at a sober home in Santa Monica. He was 27. His death was reported after emergency responders were called to the facility for a possible overdose, and the investigation remains open.

Presley Gerber’s Ashes To Be Kept At His Parents’ Malibu Home
A death certificate obtained by TMZ showed that Presley was cremated at Rose Family Funeral Home.
The document listed his cause of death as deferred, meaning authorities are still waiting for additional testing before determining the official cause and manner of death.
According to the certificate, Presley’s ashes will be kept at the Malibu home of his parents, Rande and Cindy Crawford.
His body had already been released following an autopsy, but the medical examiner has not yet announced a final determination.
Police are reportedly investigating the death as a suspected overdose, but there was no indication of foul play.
Presley Gerber Was Taken to A Sober Home by a Friend Before His Death
Presley was reportedly dropped off at a Santa Monica treatment facility by a friend, accompanied by a personal coach from his team.
Sources told TMZ that Presley’s team had arranged the placement after finding the facility, and while his family had discussed him returning to treatment, they were allegedly unaware of the specific center and reportedly would not have approved it.
Presley arrived shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday and appeared to be under the influence of a substance. The facility was an outpatient treatment program with sober-living accommodations rather than a medical detox center.
Sources familiar with the program said Presley should have first been admitted to a medical detox facility, where patients are typically monitored every 15 to 30 minutes.
He was found unresponsive at the residence the following Sunday morning after a 911 call reporting a suspected overdose. Despite life-saving efforts, Presley was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m.
Funeral Plans Are Underway For The Late Model
The family is also preparing for a funeral service, with TMZ reporting that plans are underway for a small and intimate gathering in Southern California.
Forest Lawn and Malibu Presbyterian Church were reportedly being considered as possible locations, with the service expected within the week.
The family has not publicly announced the final arrangements. A representative previously asked for privacy after Presley’s death, saying the family was going through an extremely difficult and painful period.
That request has remained central as friends have gathered around the Crawford-Gerber family. The support has included longtime friends of Rande and Cindy, while Presley’s sister Kaia has also been surrounded by people close to her.

George and Amal Clooney have been among the friends seen offering support. TMZ reported that the couple had been spending time between Cindy’s home and Kaia’s home as the family grieves.
Actress Laura Dern and influencer Jake Shane have also been reported among those providing support.
The family’s longtime connections have become more visible in the days since Presley’s death, although his parents have largely kept things private.
Presley’s former girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio also shared a tribute on Instagram on September 25, posting photographs and videos of the two together.
“Shared a pure love with you & for that I thank & honor your life,” she said, “You deserved more time. You deserved more life. Very angry ab this.”
Charlotte also shared a touching clip of Presley running toward a body of water with a dog, captioning the moment: “I will always remember you this way.”
