Kandi Burruss has hit back at her ex-husband Todd Tucker after the latter went public with intimate claims about their marriage. Now, the RHOA star says his latest move proves she was right to walk away. The former couple’s private life is now playing out in public, with Burruss refusing to let Tucker’s revelations go unanswered.

Tucker teased his upcoming movie ‘Til Divorce Do Us Part with a trailer in which he opened up about their sex life. On the topic of threesomes, he confirmed the pair was involved in them. He even claimed the practice lasted through much of their 11-year marriage. “We did. I would say for most of our marriage we did,” Tucker said.
Now, Burruss fired back in a statement to People, the RHOA alum said, “A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame.”
Kandi Burruss further added, “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”
Burruss first confirmed the split on November 21, 2025. She told the outlet the decision came after careful consideration “and a lot of prayer.” She shared that her priority was protecting her peace and her children. The RHOA star described the period as difficult and emotional and asked for privacy as she and Tucker navigate their new chapter.
The exes are parents to son Ace, 10, and daughter Blaze, 6. Burruss also raises daughter Riley, while Tucker has a daughter, Kaela, from a previous relationship. Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker met during Season 4 of RHOA in 2011, got engaged in January 2013, and married in April 2014.
