We’re used to being wowed by Shakira‘s dance moves, but the Colombian superstar just served up a wow moment in fashion when she stepped out in Paris.
Shakira turned heads and sent hearts aflutter when she attended Haider Ackermann’s spring/summer 2027 presentation for Tom Ford on Sept. 30. The “Hips Don’t Lie” artist arrived at Paris’ Place Vendôme looking glamorous in her return to the Paris Fashion Week front row, stepping away from her concert residency in Madrid.
She wore a sleek, floor-length black Tom Ford evening gown from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection that commanded attention. The fitted design featured a plunging V-neckline, an open back, and delicate straps embellished with crystals, giving the dress a subtle touch of sparkle. The back of the gown is very sexy as it plunges almost to her waist, and the sparkling trim traces the edges of the dress from behind as well.
Shakira kept the rest of the look relatively understated, allowing the dramatic silhouette and crystal detailing to take center stage. She wore her long blonde hair loose in glossy, defined curls and finished the look with minimal jewelry and natural-looking makeup.
Her outfit also closely complemented the mood of Ackermann’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. Presented for Tom Ford in Paris, the collection emphasized sensuality through sharply tailored pieces, plunging necklines, cutouts, sheer fabrics and body-conscious evening wear. The presentation incorporated reflective surfaces and mirrored imagery, adding to the dramatic atmosphere.
Some are calling not just the evening gown, but the whole look one of Shakira’s best ever. And many of the commenters agreed as they gushed over it.
“Stunning,” one person wrote alongside a heart-eyes emoji, while another added, “Beautiful” with two red heart emojis.
“Our global queen Shakira,” a third person added, and a fourth posted, “How can she be so perfect?”
The timing of Shakira’s Paris appearance was notable as she is currently performing a series of concerts at the temporary Shakira Stadium in Macondo Park, making the fashion-week trip a brief break from her European residency. Vogue France reported that she was expected back onstage in Madrid on Oct. 2, as the residency continues through Oct. 3.
Shakira’s appearance also prompted speculation about a potential connection between the singer and Tom Ford, although there has been no announcement of a formal partnership or collaboration. For now, her Sept. 30 front-row appearance simply marked another high-profile fashion moment for the singer—and one that fit naturally with Ackermann’s sensual vision for Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
