SNL Season 52 cast has found new members to join the ensemble after the departure of Chloe Fineman and others. According to the latest report by Deadline, two new featured players have been added to Saturday Night Live Season 52: Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter.
The news of these newest additions to the SNL cast comes after Fineman left the show after seven seasons, alongside Martin Herlihy, who exited the sketch comedy after five seasons. Herlihy had most recently been working as a writer on Saturday Night Live after originally writing and performing as part of sketch trio Please Don’t Destroy.
Per the outlet’s sources, Belo-Osagie’s casting comes after a season in which SNL had no Black female cast members. Producers had reportedly been looking to rectify this since Ego Nwodim’s surprise exit from the series in the fall of 2025.
According to sources, Saturday Night Live may reportedly shoot its new title sequence featuring the new cast members as soon as this week.
Meet SNL’s new featured players: Saidah Belo-Osagie & Grace Reiter
Belo-Osagie is a Queens, New York-based up-and-comer. She is known for creating the event series Afrobeats Futura, as well as the solo show Saidah Gets Closure. Previously, she also wrote and directed the short film Tinge. She is repped by Gersh, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, per Deadline.
Reiter, meanwhile, is more renowned, being one of the original members of the TikTok-based sketch show Stapleview. Originally from Chippewa Falls, WI, she has generated buzz online for years for that role.
Reiter’s credits include Minimum Wage, the upcoming American High mockumentary on Netflix. She also wrote and directed the mockumentary. She is also famous for HBO’s The Chair Company with Tim Robinson, as well as the online parody “The Hunger Games (but Better).” Reiter is repped by Gersh, Mosaic, and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.
SNL premieres at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on September 26, with host Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks and musical guest KATSEYE.
