Following the arrival of his fourth child with wife Vogue Williams, Spencer Matthews has described feeling “very fortunate”, explaining that the couple “always wanted” a bigger family.
The 38-year-old former Made In Chelsea personality and his 40-year-old Irish model wife announced the birth of their new son, Remy Valentine, earlier this month.
The baby joins their three older children: seven-year-old Theodore, six-year-old Gigi, and four-year-old Otto.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Matthews said: “We always wanted lots of kids, so we feel very fortunate and lucky to be in the position that we’re in.”
On the subject of adapting to life as a family of six, he remarked: “It’s a bit of a change in routine, isn’t it?
“A bit of bed-hopping, a bit of looking after the other three. When they decide to gang up on you, it can be a bit of a problem.”
During the broadcast, he also spoke about his forthcoming Disney+ project, Breaking Spencer Matthews, which documents his attempt to undertake seven 140-mile full-distance triathlons on seven continents within 21 days.
He commented: “That’s coming out end of the year. We visit all seven continents in quite a short space of time, so it’s quite hectic, quite emotional, it’s quite deep, it’s quite dark, but it’s also very funny. I’m very proud of it.”
The couple originally met in 2017 while shooting Channel 4 series The Jump, before getting married in June 2018.
Last year, Williams featured as a late contestant on ITV‘s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! alongside Tom Read Wilson of Celebs Go Dating, in a series ultimately won by YouTuber Angryginge.
She was also victorious in last year’s celebrity Gladiators, triumphing over boxer Nicola Adams in the final.
Matthews launched Untapped last year, a podcast focused on “exploring human potential”. It follows several charitable endurance feats, such as his 2024 world record where he completed 30 marathons over 30 days in the Jordanian desert.
