Swedish riser de clair will release her debut album ‘veta begas’ on October 9th.
The merging songwriter caught our ear with a triumphant double single earlier this year, with ‘naming you’ and ‘swim in illyria’ displaying remarkable grace.

Out now, new single ‘satisfied’ is a finely poised offering, with those sculpted melodies and sighing vocals disguising a lyric of real complexity.
“For a long time, my mind was too focused on the future. I wrote satisfied out of pure frustration with how restless my mind was at the time” explains de clair. “It’s about questioning your life, experiencing that agonising pull between wanting to change everything, and at the same time, wishing you could just be satisfied and grateful for what’s in front of you. It also portrays the therapeutic process of meeting yourself – standing in the middle of your own uncertainty, trying to figure out if you’re searching for something better or just running away.”
