Warwick Castle will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland this year, offering an affordable day trip for families over the holidays.
Running from late November through early January, the historic location offers festive illumination, seasonal entertainment, and family activities.
It’s the perfect way to spend the day with the family to celebrate the Christmas period.

One of its main attractions is set across 64 acres of historic grounds and Capability Brown-landscaped gardens. This is the 45-minute light trail which features over half a million twinkling lights.
Visitors walk through illuminated tree tunnels, colour-projected archways, dynamic light installations mapped against the castle walls, and atmospheric musical soundscapes.
There is also an open-air ice rink offering 45-minute skating sessions set to classic Christmas tunes.
The rink is open throughout the day and into the evening under the glow of illuminated battlements.
Children and families can take part in cosy indoor storytelling sessions hosted by Father Christmas and his cheerful elves inside the castle state rooms. Each session includes a small gift for young visitors.
Surrounding the central courtyard, wooden chalets serve up seasonal food and drink, including German sausages, hot churros, toasted marshmallows, spiced mulled wine, and hot chocolate.
Included with daytime entry, visitors can explore the Great Hall, State Rooms, and medieval interiors decorated with tall evergreen trees, garlands, and period Christmas decorations.
