A new restaurant offering bargain lunches has attracted swathes of hungry Brummies.

A Birmingham restaurant that opened on Friday, August 21 is still attracting huge queues on New Street days after opening.
Maki and Ramen opened at King Edward House on Friday after weeks of anticipation.
The noodle bar promised £5 ramen to its early customers and at lunchtime today, Tuesday, August 25, dozens of hungry diners queued up to get a taste of the new spot.

Maki and Ramen has a number of branches across the UK including in Manchester, Sheffield, Leicester, Leeds, Nottingham and Newcastle.
Its new Birmingham branch has been highly anticipated, announcing it would be opening back in February.
It will now be open every day from 12pm until 10pm.
New openings in Brum
This year, a high number of restaurants serving sushi have confirmed new Birmingham branches.
It includes Kibou, Sticks n Sushi, and Panko Sushi up at Brindleyplace, with all three set to open in the autumn.
Sushi Tachi opened in Grand Central this year, as did Sushidog in the Bullring.
More good news was awaiting shoppers on the lower half of New Street today as they queued for their Maki and Ramen meal.
Over the road, the former Hollister unit has been redecorated to confirm that Pop Mart will open its larger store on the road.
The popular collectible shop is best known for being the home of the viral Labubu, opening to great fanfare in the Bullring in 2024.
Its new shop will be significantly bigger if the signage is anything to go by, which will delight those who queue to grab its limited edition toy drops.
Pop Mart toys can be purchased elsewhere in Birmingham, including at a vending machine down the side of the old Debenhams.
