When This Morning’s Josie Gibson recently shared a photo in a striking red dress, we immediately rushed to the Karen Millen website to check out the knitted midi. Imagine our delight when we spotted that the frock is not only on sale, but there’s also a chance to bag it with an extra discount on top.
The Stitch Detail Knit Midi Dress usually retails for £159 but is on sale priced at £63, representing a saving of 60%. Now, fashion fans can get an additional 10% off using the code KMEXTRA10 which brings the colourful number down to £56.70.
Available in sizes XS-L, the dress is proving popular as it’s already sold out in a couple of other shades. Other colours are also still in stock however including orange, navy and pink, though prices vary depending on the design selected.
The dress features a comfy ribbed knit with fine stretch detailing, while the high mock-neck and short cap sleeves give the design structure, meaning it would work as well for the office as it would for weekend plans. Fitted through the bodice, it has a gracefully flared midi skirt that falls to an elegant length meaning it can easily be styled with both heels and chic flats.
Josie teamed her frock with beige heels, keeping the look fresh and timeless. Elsewhere on the high street, Nobody’s Child is selling the autumnal-looking Burgundy Ribbed Knitted Midi Dress for £79.

Over at New Look, the Gini London Dark Red Ribbed Knit Midi Dress costs £50 and comes in sizes S-XL. Karen Millen’s website doesn’t currently carry reviews, however a number of online shoppers have praised the brand’s service and clothing over at Trustpilot.
One user said: “Kai was brilliant- helped me with my order and answered my question perfectly- thank you Kai.” Meanwhile a second commented: “I love the brand! The designs, material and the client services.”
Another deducted a star in their review of the brand as they said their order had arrived damaged, commenting: “Sadly my dress arrived damaged due to missing/loss of beads but Jade helped me with a return refund due to this in a very lovely way.”
Though this user didn’t specify which dress they’d purchased from the brand, they were keen to share their satisfaction, writing: “I bought this dress for my graduation ceremony, and it was absolute perfection!
