Toxic Box Office Wobbles as Day 3 Numbers Fall Again

Yash’s Toxic continued to witness a slowdown at the box office on Day 3, though the film has crossed the Rs 220 crore mark worldwide.

On Day 3, Toxic collected Rs 26.60 crore net in India across 19,390 shows. This represents a 29.3% drop from the previous day’s Rs 37.65 crore net collection.

With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 165.35 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 197.70 crore.

Overseas, Toxic added another Rs 4 crore on Day 3, taking its total international gross to Rs 23.75 crore.

The film’s worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 221.45 crore.

Language-wise, Hindi continued to dominate the collections with Rs 19.15 crore on Day 3. Kannada contributed Rs 5 crore, followed by Telugu with Rs 1.50 crore, Tamil with Rs 0.75 crore and Malayalam with Rs 0.20 crore.

Despite crossing Rs 220 crore worldwide in just three days, the continued drop in collections remains a concern for the Yash-starrer.

After a massive opening, the film now needs a strong weekend hold to stabilise its box-office run.

With its huge production scale and pan-India release, the coming days will be crucial in determining whether Toxic can regain momentum or continue its downward trend.
