We’re still a week out from Tulsa King returning for its fourth season, but Paramount+ has already renewed the crime drama for a fifth season which will see the story move to New York City as it explores Dwight Manfredi’s mafia origins.
Tulsa King features Sylvester Stallone as Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, a mafia capo who was released from prison and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he begins setting up his own empire. The fifth season will see Manfredi return to New York where his roots with the mafia will be more fully explored. Production has already begun on location in New York with the cast and crew moving there.
“We are thrilled to bring fans even more of this incredible series, and to be shooting the next season of Tulsa King in New York, where Dwight Manfredi’s story will continue to evolve. We’re proud of the work we’ve done in Georgia, and it remains an important venue for us,” said Drew Brown, EVP, Physical Production, Paramount Television Studios.
Season five will also see Scarlet Rose Stallone upped to a series regular while new additions to the cast include Erik Palladino (I Play Rocky), Glenn Fleshler (Billions), Anthony Skordi (The Last Frontier) and Nickola Shreli (Power Book IV: Force).
