Urvashi Rautela’s team has announced that it is pursuing legal remedies against a Los Angeles-based company, alleging that the company used the actress’s name, images and videos without authorization.
In a strongly worded statement, the actress’s team said damages are currently being assessed at Rs 7,000 crore. According to the statement, the company allegedly generated billions of dollars in value by using Urvashi Rautela’s name, photographs and videos without her permission.
The team said it is pursuing “appropriate legal remedies, including damages” against the company.
The statement also warned the company against using the actress’s identity without permission, while making it clear that the team has no objection to the company building its own artificial intelligence business or brand.
The identity of the Los Angeles-based company and further details about the proposed legal action have not been specified in the statement.
Urvashi Rautela has appeared in several Telugu films, including “Waltair Veerayya”, “Agent”, “Daaku Maharaj”, “Bro” and “Skanda”.
