The fourth round of the US Open gets under way today, with the world’s biggest tennis stars looking to book their place in the quarter-finals.
So far this weekend, some of the biggest casualties on the men’s side have been fifth seed Flavio Cobolli and ninth seed Taylor Fritz, the latter crashing out despite being two sets and a break up.
However, it’s been business as usual for the likes of Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev.
In the women’s tournament, favourites Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Jessica Pegula have all safely made it through, as has Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen after her incredible comeback win over Madison Keys from being 5-0 and match point down in the third set.
Alcaraz, Sabalenka and Pegula are all in action at New York’s USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday, so read on for the latest.
