Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were spotted at AMB Cinemas in Hyderabad. The couple watched “Epic – First Semester”, which hit the screens on September 11.
The film stars Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the lead roles. The coming-of-age drama has received largely negative reviews, while a strong negative campaign against the film has also been doing the rounds on social media.
Despite the negative talk, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna took time out to watch the film together.
Vijay Deverakonda was seen appreciating director Aditya Haasan for his sincerity in making the film.
Meanwhile, producer Naga Vamsi appears to have accepted that the film’s box-office run has been affected by the negative campaign and the poor word of mouth.
