Vishwaksen is juggling multiple projects, and his films are set to arrive one after another. The first among them is “Cult”, which is now gearing up for a theatrical release.
The makers have announced October 30 as the release date.
Produced by Sandeep Kakarala under the Tarak Cinemas banner, “Cult” is billed as India’s first authentic slasher film.
The release date glimpse offers another look at the film’s intriguing premise, with Vishwak Sen seen in an intense avatar and on a violent killing spree. His rage and the dark visuals make the announcement video striking. Ravi Basrur’s pulsating score further builds the tension.
“Cult” features a large ensemble cast, including Gayatri Bharadwaj, Tarak Ponnappa, and others.
Tharun Bhascker has penned the dialogues, while Vishwak Sen has directed the film apart from playing the lead role.
