Vishwambhara OTT deal inked. Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s socio fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara has been waiting in the wings for a longtime. The film directed by Mallidi Vasishta of Bimbisara fame got delayed due to extensive usage of CGI and VFX.
Reports are coming that the makers are planning to release the film during Sankranti in place of Chiranjeevi’s Kaaka directed by Bobby. Currently Kaaka is slated for release on 13 Jan 2027 as Sankranti special.
Now, inside talk is the film’s OTT deal has been finalised. Top OTT giants like Netflix and Amazon Prime competed to bag the rights but according to sources, Amazon Prime bagged the rights for a fancy sum. With the OTT deal done, the decks are cleared for Vishwambhara’s theatrical release.
The film stars Trisha as the female lead while Aashika Ranganath, Ramya Pasupuleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri are playing important roles. The music for the film is tuned by Keeravani.
