“I really would never bother”

A festivalgoer has urged others to “never bother” going to Creamfields after visiting the festival this weekend.
The August bank holiday weekend has seen many facing thunderstorms, strong winds and sudden downpours, with Cheshire – where Creamfields takes place – being among the areas to experience unsettled weather. This left many festivalgoers facing incredibly muddy conditions over the weekend.
Sharing footage of the muddy field at the Daresbury festival on TikTok, Adam Frisby described Creamfield’s as a “hell hole”, adding that he “really would never bother” going again.

Adam, founder of fashion brands In The Style and reasn, said: “Guys if anyone’s ever thinking to come to Creamfield’s, don’t bother. Even the hospitality is honestly s***. I really would never bother.”
He continued: “Guys, what the f*** man. This is absolutely the worst. This is a hell hole.”
Scores of people have since also taken to TikTok to share their own experiences of the festival, with some also declaring they will “never again” attend Creamfields.
On TikTok, one commenter wrote: “I went to creamfields in 2012 – never again. First festival and it flooded after 12 hours. Awful!”
A second person also added: “My daughter came back early last night she said it was dreadful, she even had to leave the tent.” While another said they “couldn’t think of anything worse”.
However some fans have urged others not to “let this year put you off”, adding that Creamfield’s is “amazing” during better weather.
One festival goer wrote: “When the weathers good it’s amazing, don’t let this year put you off!!” A second then added: “Creamfields on a sunny weekend is the best! But the mud and rain completely does ruin it.”
A third fan of the festival also commented: “I wish everyone could experience a sunny creamfields it really is an amazing weekend.” As a fourth wrote: “I had a ball they deffo need to put in more seating areas in weather like this though!!”
Creamfields organisers have been approached for comment.
