In Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, you can collect pepper leaves from some nodes far from Dagsion. While there’s a chance of one of these leaves could come in a crate, the best approach when you want to guarantee that you will have the material is to go to the world map, visit the right nodes and use the “Search” command — at least, this is the best way to obtain this specific material and complete Leda’s “Captains’ Drink Recipes” quest.

Where to find pepper leaves in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave
Unlike wonder leaves, which are pretty rare, you can find pepper leaves in multiple nodes. There are no significant differences between the nodes, so you can choose to travel to the ones that would be more useful to visit, whether because of proximity or secondary objectives you have.
One of the nodes you reach quickly and obtain pepper leaves is the Myugria Great Tree in Saveilon. This area is on the south part of the map, and you can get to this specific node by traveling to the Salacia Posthouse, and then heading south.
The second place where you can travel to without too much trouble is in the Traveler’s Garden node. To get there, you will need to head northeast to the Castalia region. By using a carriage to Eochaid Posthouse, you will find yourself fairly close to the node. Just keep moving east of the Port of Pandora, then move north once you reach Zethus Falls.
If you’re ready to go to further places, then there are two other nodes from which you can collect pepper leaves. The first is the Forest of No Return in Pasithea. If you plan on visiting this node, you must make sure you have enough turns to go back, because it is far from the Chiron Posthouse — the closest node you can travel to using a carriage. Besides, it is the farthest node in the northwest part of Pasithea area and you might find enemies in the surrounding nodes.
The last node where you will find pepper leaves is Cape Nereus in Solidus. This node is on the southwest corner of the region, on the border with the large desert of Nysiades. There are two nodes you could travel to using a carriage: Aragona Posthouse and Cartodo Posthouse. While both are considerably close to Cape Nereus, you can save a few turns by prioritizing the first one.
You will need to collect at least one pack of pepper leaves to complete Leda’s “Captains’ Drink Recipes” perform quest. This special mission rewards you with 180 renown points, more drink options to buy, and the Song of Icewater+, which is an upgraded version of Leda’s defensive area-of-effect song. Keep in mind of the quest’s deadline (11/27) when deciding which node you’re traveling to.
