Prime Video has released a poster and trailer for the upcoming zombie horror series I Would Rather Die.
The series follows a group of teens as they attempt to save their provincial Mexican town, Mendoza, from a zombie invasion after one of them in bitten in a cornermini-mart, and utilise his condition, which he has accepted as both a blessing and a curse, to put a stop to an evil plot to destroy their town. After being bitten by a zombie at the cornermini-mart, Archie, the high school loser, along with his goth-girl best friend and his platonic crush, try to stop an evil plot that could unleash the apocalypse to Mendoza, the unremarkable provincial Mexican town where they live. A pyramid scheme selling vitamins, a group of hardcore religious ladies and a school bully, are just some of the things they must face in their quest to figure out what the hell is happening. As Archie discovers the blessing and curse of his new “condition”, he will be forced to solve personal issues, grow from kid to hero and learn how to “live his death to the fullest”.
