Raiden fought Bruticus in a sword fight, switched mid-battle to Abominus giving him punches, and later faced off against Predaking during the North Pole finale of The Headmasters.
Surviving three separate combiners in combat proves Raiden can stand against power that would destroy standard Autobot bodies. Raiden’s most important moment involved no fighting at all when he fed his own strength into the Headmasters’ Head Formation.
This gave Fortress Maximus enough power to shake off the Crysmagnetal effect crushing the Autobot titan mid-battle. A warrior who donates energy to a city-sized Transformer and still stays combat-ready carries strength most Transformers never come close to building.
Sentinel Prime Beat Optimus Prime In A Straight Fight

Sentinel Prime earns his spot in the Autobot ranks with his combat results alone. His cosmic rust cannon dissolved Ironhide in a matter of seconds and a handful of shots, tearing the Autobot apart from the inside before he could even prepare a defense.
Weapons that destroy armor on touch erase the size and durability advantages other fighters rely on, and Sentinel wielded one without hesitation the moment he chose to strike. The bridge fight between Sentinel and Optimus Prime settled any doubts.
Sentinel sliced off Optimus’ arm mid-fight and stood over the Autobot leader ready to finish him before Megatron’s unrelated intervention. No other Autobot in that continuity physically overpowers Optimus one-on-one, which places Sentinel above every named Autobot combatant in the Bayverse’s entire character list.
Omega Prime Merges Two Autobot Commanders Into One Matrix-Powered Warrior
Ultra Magnus forced the first merge to drain the Matrix for himself. That scheme collapsed because Optimus Prime controlled the merged body just as fully as he did. Omega Prime then handed Megatron a set of defeats across Robots in Disguise, ending him decisively in the Sahara without leaving a mark on Fortress Maximus during a separate desert fight.
Omega Prime lost ground badly against him. At least until Fortress Maximus transferred power directly into the fusion, supercharging the Matrix into the colossal Matrix Blade that ended the war at Earth’s core. Directing a titan’s full power through a single hand weapon demands a body specifically built to survive that kind of overload.
Dai Atlas Killed The Decepticons’ Strongest General In A Single Attack
Star Saber’s successor, Dai Atlas, claimed the Supreme Commander title through real kills, which matters given Star Saber himself is already ranked among the most dangerous Autobots ever. Dai Atlas targeted Overlord and destroyed him without any effort with the Galactic Dash attack during Zone.
Overlord had already crushed entire Autobot formations before that fight, so ending him in one move exposes a real gap in power between the two. Riding Sonic Bomber through open air, Dai Atlas combined his wings into a Z-shaped blade and cut the fleeing Decepticon combiner Predaking cleanly in half without slowing down.
God Ginrai Destroyed A Decepticon God While Piloting A Borrowed Body
Ginrai fights as a human bonded to a Transtector, which makes his win record against pure Transformers genuinely unusual. Combining with Godbomber, God Ginrai beat Overlord again and again across Super-God Masterforce and drove the Combined BlackZarak off Earth and back into deep space more than once.
Winning those match-ups purely through Chokon Power multiplies his effective power. God Ginrai beheaded the Devil Z and BlackZarak’s body, burned away the hydra form it adopted next with God Fire Guts, then drew on the Headmaster Juniors’ combined strength to unleash Final Fire Guts and erase Devil Z entirely.
Alpha Trion Rewrites Reality With The Quill
Alpha Trion does not need more force to win a fight, because his abilities go far beyond strength. As one of the Thirteen, he protects the Quill tied to the Covenant of Primus that can structure future events through its writing.
That power makes weapons almost pointless, since Alpha Trion can change an outcome without overpowering an enemy directly, which defeats the purpose of fighting. His biggest display comes when he rebuilds Orion Pax into Optimus Prime in the G1 episode “War Dawn.”
The transformation matters because Alpha Trion turns a dying worker into a leader, showing how his power can change Cybertron’s history. Optimus Prime eventually becomes the Autobots’ best commander, which makes Alpha Trion’s intervention far more significant and shows how his actions can structure the war.
Victory Saber Destroyed A Planet-Killing Fortress From The Inside
Deathsaurus operated on a level no Autobot could reach, forcing Star Saber to team up with Victory Leo. Victory Saber outran missiles launched at Earth and destroyed their satellite in Transformers: Victory, proving his speed could deal with threats beyond battles. Reaching the target before the missiles hit Earth matters because that speed gave him time to protect the planet.
The finale shows his power clearly when Victory Saber destroys a fortress built to destroy entire worlds, a greater feat than just beating another warrior. Surviving the fortress’ destruction matters even more as he endured the collapse of a weapon designed for planetary destruction. That survival gives Victory Saber a level of durability few Autobots in Transformers: Victory can match.
Vector Prime Controls The Flow Of Time Itself
Primus made Vector Prime the protector of space and time, putting him above ordinary Cybertronians as his role covers the forces that shape reality. Vector Prime opens gateways between dimensions, giving him power over where beings can travel and escape. He can also send others into entirely new realities, proving he can remove enemies without needing to beat them in battle.
Vector Prime gave up his physical body to turn back time, showing that his power can affect events on a massive scale. He used that power to help the stranded Autobots return to Cybertron, proving he could alter time for an entire team as well. However, rewinding time drained his remaining power, showing that even this ability comes with an actual cost.
The Last Autobot Revives The Dead With A Single Touch
Primus built the Last Autobot as backup against his own death, and its power and skills reflect that specific purpose. The giant at the same time restored fallen Autobots across the battlefield on Klo while Decepticons were actively piling onto a weakened Optimus Prime in Marvel’s The Transformers.
The Last Autobot guided a planet already tearing itself apart following Unicron’s defeat back into full stability. Then rebuilt the dying Hi-Q into a fully living Optimus Prime. Healing a wounded planet and remaking a Prime from nothing places him closer to Primus’ own tier than to the soldiers he personally brought back to life.
Optimus Prime Kills Gods When The Matrix Finally Opens
Optimus Prime holds the highest rank of any Autobot because the Matrix answers to him and almost no one else. Prime carried the Matrix directly into Unicron and opened it from inside the Chaos Bringer, releasing the full measure of Primus’ power and killing a planet-eating god entirely in Marvel’s The Transformers.
Even without that specific advantage of the Matrix, his record holds up as Optimus leaves Megatron mortally wounded at Autobot City in The Transformers: The Movie. Unfortunately, this was an exchange that cost Prime his own life in the process. Optimus later tears The Fallen apart in Revenge of the Fallen, beating opponents who outclass everyone else around him, and showcasing the real power gap between him and the other Transformers.
