The three best Prime Video series that are dominating the streamers’ Top 10 this weekend, September 11–13, 2026, include a reality reboot, a coming-of-age hit, and an action thriller approaching its season finale. Two of these three series have been some of the most popular series on Prime Video of the entire year so far, holding firmly on to the top 2 worldwide viewership spots for the better part of a month. The third show is a brand new revival of a beloved reality series that centers on globe-trotting adventures and high-powered cars.
Prime Video has been somewhat light on new streaming releases during the second half of summer 2026, which is partly why these big streaming hits have retained their dominance for so long. That said, these series are all critically acclaimed and well-deserving of their pedestals, as they each have Certfied Fresh ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. Other new streaming hits like Off Campus and Ride or Die, or 2026 Emmy contenders like Fallout and Spider-Noir, are always safe bets, but these three shows are the very best on Prime Video now.
The Grand Tour
Prime Video just launched a revamped version of the classic reality series The Grand Tour on September 3, 2026, with six new episodes and a new trio of hosts. They include Thomas Holland and James Engelsman, who co-host a popular YouTube channel called Throttle House with more than 3.4 million subscribers, and Francis Bourgeois, a TikTok star and engineer who previously worked at Rolls-Royce. They take the reins from the original presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.
While The Grand Tour original series enjoyed 46 episodes and six seasons from 2016 to 2024, the new and improved series aims to dive more deeply into the technical aspects of motorsports and luxury automobiles. 2026’s The Grand Tour is one of the most-watched new shows on Prime Video, ranking #4 worldwide heading into the weekend, and earned a Rotten Tomatoes score of 83% paired with an audience score of 84%. With just six episodes, The Grand Tour is an ideal length for a quick weekend binge on Prime Video.
Sterling Point
Sterling Point has spent more than a month on Prime Video’s worldwide Top 10 chart, solidifying it as one of the streamer’s biggest breakout series of the entire year. The viral coming-of-age series has given rise to a slate of up-and-coming stars, namely Ella Rubin, Amélie Hoeferle, and Keen Ruffalo, the son of Mark Ruffalo, while also featuring familiar faces such as Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jay Duplass. Sterling Point is also a critical success, earning a 91% Rotten Tomatoes score, and is already renewed for a second season.
Sterling Point may be Prime Video’s newest teen drama series, but it carries a nostalgic 2000s feel to it thanks to creator Megan Park (My Old Ass, The Fallout), who developed the series with the creative team behind one of the most iconic series of its kind, The O.C. The series is also more mature than what you may expect from a coming-of-age series, avoiding messy and toxic relationships and instead offering viewers something more enriching and comforting. Sterling Point is one of those shows that’s simply a must-see on Prime Video.
Reacher
Ever since Reacher season 4 was released just about a month ago, it has been truly dominant on Prime Video, gripping onto the streamer’s #1 viewership spot as firmly as Alan Ritchson’s protagonist Jack Reacher can grip onto his enemies in an action scene. Reacher season 4 has proven once again that the action thriller franchise has been one of Prime Video’s most reliably popular series since it broke records in 2022.
Reacher season 4, which adapts Lee Child’s novel Gone Tomorrow, has one of the most interesting premises in the entire book series and features Reacher at some of his most unhinged moments in the Prime Video series. That said, Reacher season 4 is also one of the lowest-rated seasons by critics of the franchise, but not by much, sitting at 94% on Rotten Tomatoes compared to its franchise high of 98% for seasons 2 and 3. Now, with its season 4 finale set for Wednesday, September 16, Reacher season 4 is about to come to an end, making it the best show to binge-watch on Prime Video this weekend.
