A lot has been said about the possible postponement of “Kaaka”, starring Chiranjeevi and directed by Bobby, from the Sankranthi slot to accommodate another Chiranjeevi starrer, “Vishwambhara”.
There were reports that the team of “Vishwambhara” had requested Chiranjeevi to give the Sankranthi slot to their film and move “Kaaka” to summer.
However, KVN Productions, which is bankrolling “Kaaka”, has now confirmed that the film is on track for a worldwide release on January 13, 2027. The production house stated that the shooting is progressing as planned and that there is no reason for the film to miss the Sankranthi festival.
With this statement, the “Kaaka” team has indirectly made it clear that it is not backing down from the Sankranthi race.
“Vishwambhara”, which has been in the making for nearly three years, has lost much of its initial hype due to the prolonged delay and needs a strong release date to attract audiences. Both films are important for Chiranjeevi, but “Kaaka” currently has more buzz.
