Queens Of The Stone Age have shared new single ‘Where The Goth Girls At?’ in full.
The American rockers are back, with incoming studio album – their ninth to date – ‘Perfecth’ set to land in the coming weeks.
A force to be reckoned with, the band recently played Tottenham Hotspur Stadium supporting System Of A Down and came close to ealing the headline act’s thunder.
New single ‘Where The Goth Girls At?’ is taken from their incoming album, and it’s an ode to Josh Homme’s teenage fascination with the gothic beauties of 1980s Los Angeles. A bruising bass-led feast of rock debauchery, the frontman says of the song:
Watching the goth girls working the counter at JCPenney and giving goth makeovers to the old ladies, that’s when I knew the only place I want to be is where the goth girls at. Teenage love, ain’t it grand?
The video for ‘Where The Goth Girls At?’ reunites the band with directors Christopher Gruse & Tony Wolski. Queens are joined in the clip by comedian Steve Agee, dancer/artist Scarlett Kapella, singer/actress Lou Lou Safran and a tonne of black ink…
