Having being dropped by Amazon MGM Studios earlier in the year, Neon are showing off their acquisition of Luca Guadagnino’s Artificial by releasing the first teaser for the OpenAI movie.
Set for release on Christmas Day, the film stars Andrew Garfield as Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI, who was embroiled in a scandal that saw him fired and hired in the space of five days in 2023. Written by Simon Rich (An American Pickle), Artificial also stars Ike Barinholtz as Elon Musk, alongside Yura Borisov, Monica Barbaro, Cooper Hoffman, Jason Schwartzman, and Mark Rylance.
