Birmingham Airport is highlighting one of its most popular routes that you can discover with Jet2.
This is Samos, Greece, known for its wine and “beautiful beaches” all year round.
Better still, there are plenty of cheap flights available for as low as £44 right now.

Showcasing the location on social media, Birmingham Airport has highlighted some of the many reason people should visit one of Greece’s most stunning islands.
They shared a series of fun facts about it, including that Samos is known foy its “vineyards and wine productions, particularly its sweet Muscat wine.”
They added: “regional favourite foods include revithokeftedes, triftades and stuffed vine leaves.”
It’s “the birthplace of the Greek philopsopher and mathematician Pythagorus,” and it as a “variety of beautiful beaches to choose from including: Lemonakia, Votsalakia & Tsamadou.”
In response, one commenter wrote: “Looking forward to our first visit in September!”
There are so many reasons to explore the island, as unlike many arid Greek islands, Samos features dense pine forests, olive groves, and two dramatic mountain ranges, including Mount Kerkis and Mount Karvounis.
It offers a variety of picturesque settlements, ranging from seaside harbours to traditional hillside villages.

The island hosts the UNESCO-listed Archaeological Site of Heraion of Samos, an ancient sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Hera featuring massive Ionic columns.
he nearby Eupalinus Aqueduct, Tunnel of Eupalinos, is a 6th-century BCE aqueduct carved entirely through solid limestone from both ends simultaneously.
