Eva Marie Saint, who won an Academy Award for her movie debut as the convent-bred love interest of dock worker Marlon Brando in “On the Waterfront,” and later redefined herself for audiences as the chic seductress of fugitive Cary Grant in “North by Northwest,” died Oct. 6 at her home in Los Angeles. She was 102.
