Gerard Butler has given us some amazing movies across genres; be it a fantasy war, gangster drama, action, or drama, audiences know they are in for a ride with his movies. The actor has had a successful run revisiting his previous roles, like the live-action remake of How To Train Your Dragon, where he transitioned from voicing Stoick to playing him on the big screen. His one-liners, like “This is Sparta,” have found a permanent place in pop culture since. 300 became a massive commercial blockbuster, earning $456.1 million worldwide, and one of the biggest box office surprises of its era. The movie divided critics and audiences, though, as seen in its Rotten Tomatoes score: 61% by critics and 89% by audiences.
