The much-awaited teaser of “Ranabaali” is here. Ever since the first look was released, the period action drama has generated considerable anticipation, and the teaser further raises expectations. Titled “Ranabaali Teaser – The Savage’s Oath”, it was released today.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda as Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a warrior from Rayalaseema who rebels against a British officer responsible for atrocities against the local people and worsening their hardships.
Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo, best known for his role in “The Mummy”, plays the British officer, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays Jayamma, Ranabaali’s wife.
Set in 19th-century Rayalaseema during British rule, “Ranabaali” draws from real events involving rebellion, drought and forgotten chapters of history. The teaser promises intense action with a strong patriotic undercurrent.
Vijay Deverakonda appears in a rugged warrior avatar, marking a significant departure from the roles he has played in recent years. The teaser also stands out for its thunderous score by Ajay-Atul.
“Ranabaali” is slated for a worldwide release on October 16, 2026.
