The fantasy action spectacle Mirai added four key trophies to its growing collection at SIIMA 2026.
Helmed by director Karthik Gattamneni and mounted on a massive scale by producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the movie picked up Best Film, Best Actor – Critics for Teja Sajja, Best Cinematography for Karthik Gattamneni, and Best Actor in a Negative Role for Manoj Manchu.
Beyond SIIMA, Mirai highlighted its technical execution with major wins at the Gaddar Telangana Awards and INCA Awards 2026.
The movie’s universal appeal helped Teja Sajja become the only young Telugu actor in recent years to post consecutive pan-Indian box-office successes.
Dubbed multi-language versions propelled the film past ₹150 crore worldwide and $3 million in North America, making it the top-grossing Telugu title in North India and Japan in 2025.
As celebrations continue one year post-release, expectations are sky-high for the franchise. The second part is currently in the pre-production stage and set to go on floors soon.
