Golden Ark Production, owned by producers Prasad Bhaskarla and Chaitanya Vangavarapu, has announced its latest film Magallu Zindabad, starring young hero Sri Nandu along with popular comedians Vennela Kishore and Viva Harsha.
Written and directed by Nara Praveen, the film’s title was officially unveiled at a grand event.
Nara Praveen, a protégé of renowned Telugu filmmaker Anil Ravipudi, has already generated curiosity with the film’s unique and attention-grabbing title. At a time when comedy-driven films are receiving strong appreciation from audiences, the makers are confident that Magallu Zindabad will entertain viewers with its engaging concept and humorous content.
Director Nara Praveen said Magallu Zindabad is a satirical comedy and that the title reflects the central theme of the story.
He explained that the film humorously explores the perception that the comfort, justice and sympathy often available to women in society are not always extended to men. The subject, he said, has been handled in a satirical manner while creating entertaining situations throughout the film.
He added that Magallu Zindabad is essentially a social satire packed with enjoyable comedy and that the entire film unfolds in a light-hearted and entertaining manner.
Heroine Lakshmi Durga said she believes Magallu Zindabad will appeal to audiences across different sections. She thanked the producers for trusting her and giving her the opportunity to make her debut with the film.
She added that audiences have always supported good cinema and urged viewers to watch and encourage Magallu Zindabad.
Speaking at the title launch, hero Sri Nandu said the title Magallu Zindabad is sure to make people think while also bringing a smile to their faces.
He clarified that the title was not chosen to dominate or belittle women. Instead, the film aims to give voice to men’s perspectives through humour and satire.
