A former Nottingham restaurant, covering five storeys, is being put up for auction with a guide price of at least £225,000.
Described as a “rare freehold opportunity in the city centre“, the Grade II listed building is tucked away in Eldon Chambers, off Wheeler Gate.
The property has been empty for more than a year since the closure of the popular award-winning plant-based restaurant No. Twelve, which shut its doors on May 31, 2025.
Chef Ritchie Stainsby, who appeared on MasterChef: The Professionals, and his wife Lauren, were forced to close for reasons beyond their control.
Before that the old red-brick Victorian mill was home to French restaurant Le Mistral for 12 years.
The space covers 2,760 sq ft over the five storeys. The main restaurant area is based on the ground floor, with space for private functions upstairs.
The kitchen is located on the second floor, while the third floor is office space. The building also has a basement for storage.
It will be part of Auction Estates’ auction at Nottingham Racecourse on Thursday, October 8, at 2.30pm.
