ITV has released a preview teasing all of the drama in Coronation Street next week

Corrie bosses have revealed that a long-standing character will be left unconscious in the Rovers Return’s cellar. ITV has released a preview teasing all of the drama in Coronation Street next week [September 20-26].
The release, issued this morning, revealed that Eva Price, played by Catherine Tyldesley, will be found unconscious. The sneak peak explains that when Eva closes the Rovers Return Inn she hears a noise downstairs and goes to investigate.
Their next image shows Debbie Webster, played by Sue Devaney, looking ‘horrified’ to find her lying unconscious at the bottom of the cellar steps. The teaser ends by revealing how Debbie ‘hurries out to get help but becomes confused’ and it’s not explained why.
It leaves the preview on a cliffhanger by asking ‘Will Debbie be able to get Eva the help she needs?’. Eva Price has been in Coronation Street from 2011-2018 and then returned last year, totalling eight years on the Cobbles.
The preview also reveals police officer Kit Green’s job will be on the line as he ‘loses his rag’ with a suspect and DS Lisa Swain has to step in. ITV bosses say Kit finally comes clean about his cancer diagnosis after being ordered to take a day off.
Another teaser shows Carl Webster with his top off after Debbie and Ronnie Bailey return home to spot a girl emerging from his room. Elsewhere on the Cobbles Sally Webster is concerned to see a picture of an angry woman when looking at Lucy Parkinson’s art project.
Sally questions if it’s a depiction of her mum Rachel but Lucy sees red and bosses leave the question if the troubled teen will ever open up to Sally. At the funeral directors Christina is ‘delighted’ when she’s promoted to assistant funeral director. But she’s ‘horrified’ when one deceased woman on file happens to be Lucy’s mother and it’s not revealed why.
