John Mulaney got bleeped while making a raunchy joke during his presentation of the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, but we know what he said!
“This is the best part of the night. Lead actor in a drama. This award is for the guys, just men being men,” the 44-year-old comedian joked.
He went on to crack jokes about men being “unrepresented” on television and how some of the men nominated in the acting categories “do method acting and some do regular, less annoying acting.”
But the part that got several of his words banned came when he said, “I believe it was DJ Khaled who said…” before he started to get bleeped out. It seemed like John went on to say, “real men don’t go down on their wives,” before continuing, “but these nominees know that that is B.S.”

“They know there’s often less pressure on them if they do that first,” he added to finish off the joke.
From there, he did finally go on to announce the winner of the category, and Noah Wyle took home the award for his role in The Pitt.
The joke was making reference to the now infamous Breakfast Club interview DJ Khaled did in 2015 where he talked about refusing to perform oral sex on women.
