Kandi Burruss Says Todd Tucker Tried ‘Multiple Times’ to Pitch Show About ‘RHOA’ Men, But No One Was Interested

Kandi Burruss is weighing on her ex-husband Todd Tucker’s latest project. 

In a new interview with  Audi Cornish and Ari Shapiro’s for CNN’s Engagement Party podcast, Kandi discussed her ex’s upcoming doc, ‘Til Divorce Do Us Part. The movie – which is apparently coming to theaters later this year –  features Todd and other ex-husbands of The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars, including Apollo Nida (ex-husband of Phaedra Parks) and Peter Thomas (ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey), and Ralph Pittman Jr. (ex-husband of Drew Sidora). 

During their chat, Cornish shared that she was a fan of RHOA, but that she wasn’t interested in the men’s lives.

“One of the things I loved about Real Housewives, it was centering the story of women,” she said. “Many over the age of 40. And I didn’t really want to know about the dudes on the side.”

Burruss wasn’t surprised by Cornish’s feelings.

“He’s tried to pitch this show multiple times,” the Bravo alum revealed. “They did not choose to do it because I think a lot of people feel the way you do.”

Previously, Burruss slammed Tucker’s upcoming film after he released a trailer online that shows him opening up to Thomas about the threesomes he says he and Burruss frequently had during their marriage. Burruss said he should have kept those intimate details private. 

“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” she told People in a statement. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”
