With winter around the corner, plenty of shoppers will be on the lookout for cosy things that will keep them warm on chilly nights. A luxurious throw could be the perfect addition – something that looks good enough to be draped over the sofa when not in use, but also nice and snuggly for during a cold snap.

It has a festive nutcracker design, but with autumnal colours, it can be used before or after Christmas without looking out of place.

Or at Dunelm, there’s this new Tartan Sherpa Throw (130cm x 180cm) for £20. This features a retro tartan design and a soft sherpa reverse. Whether it’s draped over the sofa or wrapped around the body, the site says ‘it’s a cosy go-to for Christmas and beyond’.
However, shoppers who have bought the Deyongs Folkloric Nutcracker Throw Navy seem to be happy with their purchase. One buyer said: “A perfect Christmas Fleece blanket, for decoration or to snuggle under while you watch a Christmas movie.”
Another said: “Looks and feels luxurious, very comforting. My granddaughter loves it.”

While there were no negative reviews of the blanket, some shoppers might find the nutcracker design a tad too Christmassy for use all winter. However, there are plenty of other designs on offer at Yimbly if buyers would prefer another pattern.
If buyers are after a large blanket that can be used for several people at once, this might not be the pick for them. It is around the same size as a single duvet, though could be ideal for draping over legs while enjoying a night on the sofa.
