Mamitha Baiju’s busy 2026 continues with Irandu Vaanam, her upcoming Tamil romantic drama opposite Vishnu Vishal. Directed by Ramkumar, the film will release worldwide on October 23, 2026. The announcement has increased interest around the project, particularly because it reunites Vishnu Vishal and Ramkumar after Mundasupatti and Ratsasan.
Irandu Vaanam completed its 150 day shoot in June 2025 and has remained largely under wraps since then. The new promotional video hints at an intense love story facing a major tragedy. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the movie features music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematography by Dinesh K Babu and editing by San Lokesh.
Mamitha Baiju has maintained a busy schedule across Tamil and Malayalam cinema following Premalu. Her 2026 releases include Jana Nayagan, Vishwanath and Sons, Kara and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. The latter has crossed ₹300 crore worldwide according to recent reports, adding another major commercial milestone to her rapidly expanding filmography.
Her upcoming slate also includes projects linked to Tamil film with Pradeep Ranganathan, although Premalu 2 was reportedly put on hold after the team struggled to finalise a satisfactory script. For now, Irandu Vaanam remains the confirmed upcoming release, arriving October 23 with Vishnu Vishal and Ramkumar.
