Slitherine Games has released the latest single-player campaign expansion for its real-time strategy game Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance on Steam. The new Evolution DLC takes players to the frozen lands of Canada, where they will find new allies, new technologies and new enemies. This new DLC takes Lieutenant Church and the Resistance far north into the frozen territories of Canada in search of new allies and a way to turn the tide in the war against Legion. What they don’t know is that Legion has developed a new generation of killing machines called the Rev 6.5, known to the local resistance forces as Rippers. These fearsome new enemies are designed for speed, pursuit, and close-quarters combat, and are equipped with bladed limbs and rapid melee assault systems.
Fighting these new enemies means changing how they fight, and fortunately the Resistance has gained access to augmentation technology, allowing soldiers to be enhanced and augmented to become a new class of human combatant.
Evolution features an 8-mission campaign that takes players through an atmospheric, frozen Canadian landscape filled with frozen forests, industrial mines, and the Legion’s experimental facilities. Not only will factions have access to the Rippers and augmented resistance soldiers, but there are also new weapons and equipment, including the Integrator Plasma Multi-Barrel Mortar artillery platform, the Legion Mini-Rover drone, the Leopard C2 MEXAS Canadian tank and the LAV-AT anti-tank unit.
