Mubi has released the trailer for their critically acclaimed festival-favourite Rose, which stars Sandra Hüller (Project Hail Mary) in Berlinale Silver Bear winner form as a woman forced to disguise herself as a male soldier in a small 17th Century Protestant village.
Directed by Markus Schleinzer (Veni Vidi Vici) from a script he co-wrote alongside Alexander Brom, Rose is Austria’s official entry to the 99th Academy Awards. As well as being headlined by the Anatomy of a Fall star, the film also features Caro Braun, Marisa Growaldt, Godehard Giese, Augustino Renken, Robert Gwisdek, Maria Dragus, Sven-Eric Bechtolf, Rainer Egger, Maurice Leonhard, Annalisa Hohl, Anne Klein, and Bastian Trost.
