If you love the annual Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market, then this could be your dream job.

Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market is hiring staff to work at the annual festive attraction – and you’ll get more per hour than minimum wage.
Staff are being sought to work alongside the German team at a range of stalls across the market.
This year, the Frankfurt Christmas Market runs from Thursday, November 5 right up until Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24.

Every day through that time there will be stalls selling beer and other drinks, food including the famous bratwurst sausages and trinkets and gifts.
Running from the Bullring end of New Street right up to Victoria Square, there are usually around 60 decorated wooden stalls attracting millions of visitors.
The market is looking to hire full and part time staff, saying that previous experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Training will be given and interviews are running from late September and through October, so move fast if you’re interested.
Among the roles are bar staff for those who are ‘friendly and good at engaging with the public’ and catering assistants for serving up bratwurst, chocolate-covered fruit, bratkartoffeln and schockokusse.
They’re also looking for back of house team to help as kitchen assistants, porters and glasswashers.
The listing states that pay is £13.45 an hour, above minimum wage which as of April 2026 was £12.71 for adults aged 21 and over, £10.85 for those aged between 18 and 20 and £8 an hour for under 18s and apprentices.

When it’s open, the market will be in full swing from 11am until 9pm from Monday to Thursday and then from 11am until 9:30pm on Friday.
Saturday open times are from 10am until 9:30pm and Sunday, it’s from 10am until 9pm.
That’s with the exception of Remembrance Sunday, on November 8, when it won’t open until 1pm.
