Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie have hit the beach for the latest instalment on Ocean’s Eleven. The Hollywood heavyweights are set to star in the prequel of the franchise and headed to France for filming.
Cooper, 51, and Robbie, 36, were spotted in Saint-Tropez as they film scenes for their prequel to George Clooney and Brad Pitt‘s beloved heist franchise. Cooper was seen topless in the sunshine with a pair of shades and his hair slicked back.
Robbie looked on smiling as she filmed in a two-piece blue bikini. Her blonde shoulder-length hair was swept to the side. The duo appeared to be in period-appropriate beachwear for the prequel, which is set in the 1960s.
The pair were spotted kissing for the cameras while on a balcony. Robbie was first named in the project in 2022. At the time, Ryan Gosling – who she starred alongside in Barbie – was also reported to be involved. However, it remains unclear whether the actor will be part of the final version of the project.
It’s thought the production, which has not yet been named, will hit the big screen in June next year. It will follow Danny Ocean’s parents, played by Cooper and Robbie, at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Jack Holden, Lauren Ridloff, Omar Sy, Wagner Moura and Josh Gad will also star in the production.
The Ocean’s trilogy first started in 2001. The reboot of the 1960 film starring Frank Sinatra saw George Clooney take on the role of Danny Ocean. Brad Pitt joined as Rusty Ryan as the pair of criminals schemed to pull off a casino heist in Las Vegas.
The second edition landed in 2004, with part three following. A spinoff starring Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, and Anne Hathaway also came in 2018.
Last month, Cooper sparked speculation he had tied the knot with partner Gigi Hadid. The Victoria’s Secret model, 31, and the Hollywood actor were spotted out together during a romantic trip to Paris. And they appeared to be wearing matching rings on their left hands, which appeared to be wedding bands.
The A-list couple have been dating since 2023. Their relationship started two years after Hadid’s split from former One Direction star, Zayn Malik, while Cooper had a notorious reputation for dating a string of models. He had previously been linked to Suki Waterhouse and Irina Shayk, with whom he shares a daughter.
It was reported last year that Cooper was “considering marriage and kids” with his partner. The model previously praised Cooper for being her biggest supporter and said she is “really lucky” to be dating him.
It was reported the couple first met at a birthday party hosted by a mutual friend for their child. Hadid had previously told Vogue: “You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating, and even for my friends who aren’t public figures, that’s hard. Where do you go? And, what? You just start talking to people?
“Then there’s another added layer of privacy and security, you want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on Deuxmoi or whatever, but you just don’t know.”
