The chilling inside story of the Bristol suitcase murders
Year: 2026
Certificate: 15
This two-part documentary tells the chilling inside story of a murder case that rocked Bristol and the nation. In July 2024, two suitcases containing human remains were found on the city’s Clifton Suspension Bridge – how did they get there? We hear the story from the perspective of DI Neil Meade of Avon and Somerset Police, who remembers the struggle to identify the remains; a process complicated by the fact that the heads from what seemed to be two bodies were missing.
What follows provides the closest insight yet into a murder investigation that disturbed the country over that summer. It uses a variety of footage from CCTV, doorbell cameras, mobile phones and webcams to supplement the stories told by journalists and people who knew the victims. They turned out to be Albert Alfonso and Paul Longworth, and they had been murdered by Yostin Mosquera – but why? (Two episodes)
