The postponement rumors surrounding Nani starrer “The Paradise” have finally come to an end. The team has already opened ticket bookings for the film’s premiere shows in the USA, ahead of its theatrical release.
The overseas distribution company opened pre-sales across select locations, including the Cinemark chain, and the film has already crossed the $100K mark within hours of bookings opening.
The early trend indicates that “The Paradise” could register the biggest opening of Nani’s career in North America. The film has been generating considerable buzz since the release of its first teaser, while the two songs, “Aaya Sher” and “Yeshanagula,” have further added to the hype.
Nani also has a strong fan base in North America, with several of his films performing well in the territory. “The Paradise” is arguably the most ambitious and highly anticipated film of his career, and the early response to its pre-sales has started on a strong note.
It remains to be seen how the bookings will progress over the coming days, with 15 days still left for the premiere shows.
“The Paradise” stars Nani as Jadal, Kayadu Lohar as Subbu, and Mohan Babu in a key role. Directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the film is said to be the highest-budgeted movie of Nani’s career.
