Following its main event this summer, Tubi FrightFest has announced the bumper line-up for its annual Halloween edition.
The UK’s biggest genre festival delighted attendees with a whole host of premieres in August, including Colony, Ghost in the Cell, Drag, and the closing-night treat, Species. Just in time for spooky season, FrightFest has shared what fans can expect from the 2026 Halloween line-up, set to take place at ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31.
The festival kicks off with the UK premiere of Freaks Part II from Final Destination Bloodlines co-directors Zack Lipovsky and Adam Stein, followed by Halloween folk horror The Cull. The Friday line-up concludes with the UK premiere of American Dollhouse, described in a synopsis as the “meanest slasher of the year.”
Saturday begins with the UK premiere of Talking To A Stranger, directed by Adrián García Bogliano and starring Gigi Saul Guerrero in her first leading role. This will be followed by the UK premiere of Christmas-horror Unholy Night, and the world premiere of Sean Hogan’s The Dark Gets In.
Next up, FrightFest is set to host the world premiere of Brute 1987, the sequel to Marcel Walz’s Brute 1976, and the penultimate feature will be a special screening of Crawlers, starring Matilda Lutz, and FrightFest Halloween 2026 will close with the UK premiere of Dead Howling, starring Ryan Kwanten and Temuera Morrison.
Greg Day, FrightFest co-director, said in a statement: “This is our 20th edition of the Halloween event, and it remains an unmissable highlight for genre cinema lovers, bringing an exceptional line-up of new horror, sci-fi, and fantasy films to London’s ODEON Luxe West End. We know this year’s selection goes some way into capturing the spirit of the Halloween weekend.”
Ryan Gillett, Tubi’s Marketing Director, International, added: “Following an incredible five days in August, we are thrilled to keep the screams going as the headline sponsor for FrightFest’s Halloween event. Horror isn’t simply a genre to us, it’s one of the biggest, most passionate communities on our platform. Bringing the UK’s premier horror festival together with our permanent Terror on Tubi hub allows us to give dedicated genre fans exactly what they crave this spooky season, completely for free.”
Tubi FrightFest Halloween 2026 will take place at ODEON Luxe West End in Leicester Square on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31. Passes and tickets go on sale at 12pm on Saturday, October 3
