Vishwaksen’s upcoming political action drama “Legacy” has locked its theatrical release date. The film, written and directed by Saikiran Reddy Daida, will hit screens on December 4, 2026.
The December 4 release date is particularly interesting as Prabhas’ Fauji is reportedly targeting a December 3 release. It remains to be seen whether “Fauji” will arrive as scheduled or whether “Legacy” will eventually change its date if the Prabhas starrer sticks to December 3.
Produced by Yeshwanth Daggumati and Saikiran Reddy Daida under the Kalaahi Media banner, Legacy marks Daida’s second feature after Pindam.
The makers announced the release date with a new poster featuring Vishwak Sen and Ekta Rathod sharing an intimate moment while riding horses.
Set against a political backdrop, the film features Bollywood actor Kay Kay Menon as the antagonist. Govind Vasantha, known for his work on 96, is composing the music for the film.
