“This was so much more than just a hit song,” Gaga said in a 2025 documentary about Bean. “When that song stopped charting, they didn’t stop playing that song in clubs … the movement didn’t stop.”
Together since 2020 and engaged since 2024, Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky were first photographed kissing at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. Shortly thereafter, during the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami, the couple went public with their relationship.
In recent years, Lady Gaga had spoken openly about her desire to become a mother. Speaking with the New York Times in 2025, Gaga said “I would love to have kids one day.”
“I used to have a lot of apprehension about it,” she continued. “The thing that’s the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. There’s so much in the world, and I want them to be able to choose for themselves who they want to be.”
