Blawan has confirmed plans for new two-tracker ‘Gi Mi Keys Back’ / ‘Auto Fake’.
The maverick producer returned in 2025 with his ‘SickElixir’ project, a move towards a more internally focussed sense of creation.
Released through XL Recordings, Blawan subsequently changed cities, relocating his home studio in the process.
A shift in location has brought about a shift in his creative practise, encouraging Blawan to look outward, and focus on the physically of the dancefloor.
Available to pre-order now, a limited 12 inch of the new EP lands via XL Recordings on November 13th. In a note on Instagram the producer comments:
“In the process of finding my feet again with my more dance floor friendly excursions, I honestly thought I stopped enjoying making stuff for the floor as much as my more experimental bits, but one thing you learn is when you test the waters regularly you always surprise yourself…”
