Rashmika’s period action drama Mysaa, directed by Rawindra Pulle, is set to hit the big screens on November 27, 2026. The film is about a Gond tribe, and the teaser released recently impressed the audience with Rashmika rocking in her intense avatar. Now, it has been revealed that Sita Ramam played a vital role in Rashmika becoming a part of Mysaa.
Talking to Variety India, Rawindra Pulle said, “We were both working together in Sita Ramam. I was the first AD on set. I was also the additional dialogue writer and the second-unit director for some sequences. I shot some sequences of hers, and we became very friendly. I love her eyes, and in one of the sequences, I saw the intense anger depicted in her eyes, and I knew I had found my Mysaa.”
He added, “That day, I told her that she would become my heroine someday. It was the power of manifestation. Later, when I narrated the script to her, she loved it. In fact, she even trained in Italy and Thailand for some action sequences involving postures and kicking. She worked really hard and gave it her 1000 per cent. She never said no to me.”
